It has been a year now since the release of POCO X3 NFC, it was the only smartphone from the brand that didn't go through rebranding and stuff. It came with a great design philosophy and the best specifications for less. Even though POCO is heavily criticized for rebranding such offerings from Redmi, they proved that they could bring back the F1's vastest legacy by unveiling the POCO X3 Pro with a Snapdragon 860 earlier this year.
Many fans already speculated on the release of the POCO X4 series. They hoped for the release of the POCO X3 successor as it turned one year now since its launch. Recently, a piece of information came from the tipster Xiaomiui states the arrival of the two handsets at the IMEI database. The report suggests that it is the POCO X4 and POCO X4 NFC.
The two handsets came with the model numbers 2201116PG and 2201116PI. The database also indicates that these forthcoming smartphones will unveil under the POCO branding. There is also a likelihood that these handsets might arrive as the rehash of the Redmi Note 11 Pro as the information we only knew right now about the device is few. But it is expected to see some major upgrades like 5G connectivity and an OLED panel.
Hopefully, POCO could bring something new for the X4 series as we've had enough of their rebranding that makes their launches less overwhelming so that it could make justice to its predecessor.
